Reviews

A librivox gem

(5 stars)

This book, covering a 200 year history of Europe, is presented in 53 very short, but truly remarkable chapters, each one seemingly more astounding than the last. The author, M. B. Synge, has done a most impressive job of presenting the highlights and important players on this world stage and she is to be truly commended. Her works are supposedly geared toward children; however, I aver that they are consummately suitable for adults as well. Laura Caldwell is unsurpassed as a narrator and I thank her for creating what is truly a Librivox gem.
