In fact, even films created devoid of music, such as All is Quiet on the Western Front, had music added to it for one reason and one reason alone: the audience.  Music can create a convincing atmosphere for the setting, The movies are often remembered by the music it had as the score. Even when we forget the story line actors of a movie we do remember the music score. When thinking about a movie, we often recall back to a moment when the soundtrack swelled at the perfect moment, how it transported us to other worlds, or interweaved popular culture into the narrative. We can learn a lot from how filmmakers use music in their films, This archive contains some of those scores I liked.
