He gives a defence of Thomas Paine and explains the views of his contemporaries on atheism. enjoyed the book very much; full of insight. each reader was clear and easy to understand, although, it could be a bit jarring when the readers change - quietly listening to one voice then a complete different voice starts a new chapter.
