Afternoon Play: The Blackpool Detective Thu 17th May 2001, 14:15 on BBC Radio 4 FM Peter Whalley's drama stars Jason Done as Ben Lomax, an impetuous 29-year-old Blackpool detective, new to the job. He is actually an out-of-work actor who returns to his home town with his girlfriendto run his convalescing father's private-investigation agency. He starts off in what appears to be a straightforward surveillance case, but which turns out to be something far more serious.
