a great story for a twelve year old nerd.

quite a nice sound track, some good readers, I think old Isaac is really a 5 cheese platter. he's a bit silly but it's kinda adorable. the guy reading the protagonist manages to sound emotional like the character is written, without grating the nerves more than the role requires for which I am grateful. the other readers are all wonderful, and don't showboat around.

Excellent Dramatization of an Excellent Story

It is always wonderful to have an intelligently written story, with a positive ending, that not only entertains you, but also leaves you with something to think about. The dramatization was, for the most part, very well done. I found the way Jessie spoke, when she was revealing her secret, was not quite conveying the right emotion(s), but that is a minor issue. However, the two main characters were perfect!

Fabulous work by voice actors. I don’t recall reading the written work but the story itself is Classic Asimov, complete with the 3 laws and more. Even a little bit of humanizing of the robotic brain.

This dramatized version was a fun way to listen to this book. Supposedly set in the distant future, but sounding very much like New York in the 1950s.
