An occasional collection of 10 horror stories by various readers. We aim to unsettle you a little, to cut through the pink cushion of illusion that shields you from the horrible realities of life. This was certainly one of the best readings I have heard, of Lovecraft or other writers. The sound quality was great, and the reader was magnificent. Truly beautiful.
so many great tales!

thank you once again, Librivox & the many fantastic Readers. The Soul of the Great Bell is a heartbreaking story, I think it is my favorite in this particular volume.. the Reader reads it so very well, by the end, I found myself weeping a bit.. such a sad story.

I hope that you people do a lot more of these Horror Stories. I specialy liked the stories of Lovecraft and R.E. Howard. I still hope that Librivox brings more stories, like 'The Case of Charles Dexter Ward' and 'At the Mountains of Madness'by Lovecraft and tales of King Kull and Bran Mak Morn and so on by R.E. Howard. And further any stories you can find about the Cthulhu Mythos, like those from John Ramsey Campbell, Brian Lumley, Colin Wilson, Karl Edgar Wagner, etc. etc. I thank all the readers for many pleasant hours. With many thanks from Holland, Roland Wieffering The Netherlands
