Ernest Hemingway
Read by KevinS
This is the first edition of Hemingway's in our time, published in a very small run in France in 1924. And American edition was released the following year. There are 18 brief short stories---one might say vignettes---that demonstrate the author's early interests and his increasingly iconic literary style. - Summary by KevinS (0 hr 26 min)

Reviews
A Hemingway Fan

In Our Time is a short story comprised of a series of vignettes about soldiers and bull fighters. I like Hemingway's style, which makes me feel as though I'm an active participant in the scene or, at least, an active observer.
Straightforward reading befits Hemingway

Nothing but uncolored and evely paced reading like this by Kevin S would do. The listener has the chance to feel a reaction to these tiny stories which are explained by Hemingway's life experiences.
strange, pointless, rambling

not my favorite book. The descriptions were interesting, but I didn't really get the point of any of the stories. if there were any points to be had.
