Mark Twain wrote this fairytale style story about 3 boys who meet Satan's cousin and they experience many things during this time. The story is narrated by one of the boys many years later. Mark Twain ends the story expressing the idea that will blow you away. Ideas that can be traced back thousands of years in many religions. What is existence really ... to quote that well known song by Eliphalet Oram Lyte ... Row, row, row your boat Gently down the stream, Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, Life is but a dream .... so dream on. - Summary by Patrick79 (5 hr 30 min)

One of my favorite readers. Great!

I don't know why some say Twain was more conservative in thought. This story is much like the authors during his time, Anti-God. Though not biblically based, it does show how the enemy hates God's favorite creation, humans (those created, not the evolved ones). Therefore, it's God's fault and created humans fault for everything wrong in this world and life. If I understood the ending correctly, God is just an imagination and not real. It's just in our heads? Basically, the humanist perspective. I hope I get some feedback.

I liked this but it got a little pedestrian in ch. 6 when Satan was describing the witches. Yeah, yeah, yeah; hypocrisy blah blah blah. That part reminded me of a "Kardashian" version of James Hogg's, Confession book. I would have liked to be privy to the various versions. Super duper narration. Thank you.

Reading was Wonderful, sounds quality was good and the book was interesting. I didn’t like the ending though.

This should be required reading for all students. There is no existence beyond this.
