Exciting & Engrossing Mutant Tale

The book is a little hard to get into. I recommend listening to chapters 1-3, and then listening a second time to chapters 2-3, before going on to chapter 4. This way you’ll get the characters straight, and the intricate plot begins to make sense. Once I did this, the book was thoroughly entertaining, and quite thought provoking. It’s an early mutant versus non-mutant struggle for coexistence and power, along the lines of the X-Men or the Gifted. I really enjoyed the book, and of course the reader.

Entertaining short.

More"fantasy" then "sci-fi", but a good story nevertheless. I recommend it, and of course it was read by the incomparable Mark Nelson. Thank you again sir for your work

Wow, fantastic!! It’s fast and confusing like the mind of the main character who is sent into a different time to be changed for the better I think, but we the listener feel every bump and bruise and change from one allegiance to another. A very good listen If you, have have nothing else to do, as it needs attention to be followed, and don’t need to sleep. It’s masterful to craft a story that the listener/reader feels physically.

an interesting tale. well read and written

I didn’t find it as confusing as some reviewers did. Maybe I paid too xtra attention for their warnings. It was an engaging tale with a couple of good themes and a nice resolution

No!

Comic book super hero beginning with shallow dated characters scared of the unknown and then body snatching in another dimension. Narrator does a great job on this one but I can’t listen to this garbage.
