This series of three books need to be read one often the other. They make a really good story!!! I still like The Hidden Hand better but these are worth it also. The reader is very good.

Story Retreat

I feel my desire for excitement has been satisfied. Ms Southworth's interesting plots probably make her one of the most talented of authors, and her writing the most captivating! Her books hold high standards in honesty, in caring kindness to all (regardless of class), in loyalty to principles, and in morals (except for the dancing and the after dinner wine and cigars for men).

A really lovely story in the end.

It was written very well, and the story line is great if you like mystery. If you do listen to this book, make sure you have listened to the first two books before hand. They give alot of context to this book. The first two books are 'Her Mother's secret ' and 'Loves bitterest cup '.

I listened to the entire trilogy in less than a week. At various points, I had knots in my stomach from the dread that things wouldn't work out, even though I knew they had to. What a wonderful story! What a wonderful ending!
