After working several years in foreign affairs, and after winning and then losing a fortune, Rupert Tremorne is stranded in Nagasaki, at the end of his wits and in some debt. His only chance is to take the post as private secretary to the Millionaire Mr Hemster, and to sail on with him on his yacht. REFRESHING PLOT
AVID READER
A very offbeat plot, but enjoyable. In fact, the entire book probably became enjoyable at the time of the kidnapping, whereas prior to that it had seemed to be somewhat disjointed. Good readings, for the most part. Thank you for your time.

Was very disrespectful to the Korean people.

I was surprised to find this clear misunderstanding of such a noble people. Also some of the readers were very disappointing in their performance.
