Reviews

Mysteries inside mysteries and crime upon crime, with several romances

(4 stars)

An entertaining tale, with distinct characters and believable plot. I got a bit confused like the other reviewers, but I think that was because I listened in starts and fits. It makes you want to cheer the good guys and hiss at the bad guys! Reading was wonderful.

Decent Story

(3 stars)

The various sub-plots weave such that one isn't quickly able to follow, but hang with it. The conclusion isn't what's expected. The reader is pretty good.

Good story

(5 stars)

I enjoyed this story. I was able to keep up with all the characters. The reader is very good.

(2 stars)

I just could not get into it. I will just have to try again later.

I thought I knew

(5 stars)

I was fairly confident I knew who was responsible for the crimes. I did not! This is a good story that kept me listening all day. I got 20+ inches of knitting done spaced throughout the day between cooking and cleaning, and I knit well into the night in order to finish this interesting story. A day well spent :)

(3 stars)

The chapters do not change correctly and most have large blank time at the end. The narration is quite good. The tale itself meanders quite a bit and is only moderately interesting.

VERY WELL CRAFTED AND READ

(4.5 stars)

Well crafted - had little fun idea of who done it. Masterfully read - truly one of the best narrators I've heard yet.

Good story.

(4 stars)

However, after listening to the perfect plots, characterization and writings of AKG and MR Rhinehart, not as satisfying. Very good reader! Thanks!
