The last in an amazing set of tales

(5 stars)

Yet again an amazing story from Mr Lowell. I have listened to this entire series three times an each and every time I have been drawn fully into the world of the solar clipper and the adventures of Ishmael. Though this story is by far the most emotional with its sense of finality it still leaves me seeking more tales! Love your work Mr Lowell! I look forward to more from the solar clipper world.

Bittersweet

That is the only way I can describe this final book. Mr.Lowell I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work on this series, not only for the stories themself but for narrating with true emotion the audience can feel. I have to say that this is the first book in a very long time to make me cry true tears of sorrow and then again tears that I'm at a loss to describe. I can't wait to begin my journey with the rest of your works. I wish you well in everything you do and hope for your safe voyage.

Thank you

It is hard to describe the incredible journey that this book, series, and author will take you on. The best thing I can say at this time is this a journey that I happened across and I am grateful that I did. It has been a wonderful experience, and yes I mean experience. Take a chance and experience this journey for yourself. I hope that like me that you will be thankful that you did.

I want more

I love this series. I never thought I would enjoy this story as much as I have. I have listened to hundreds of audio books. there is just something about the story and how it's told that just pulls you into the world. I could see the story play out in my mind and I became totally emersed into this world.

Another Hit!

Once again, Mr. Lowell has created a phenomenal story! If you have not listened to this series you are missing the best Science Fiction to come out in decades! why these stories have not been turned into movies is beyond me! My only regret is that his other books have not been turned into audiobooks. While you can get the others on Amazon in Kindle form, I would gladly pay for them in audiobook form. Get to work, Nathan!!!

I recently found myself listening to the series from the beginning again, with renewed contentment in the well-paced storyline. The last book will be stopped a few chapters before the end. I've never had a taste for tragedy without resolution. It leaves the heart empty, and truth be told it ...

So sad in Borneo

It's so sad to come to the end of my second listen to this wonderful series. I have that empty hollow feeling one gets when leaving a group of friends knowing that the journey together has ended and what we had is no more to be. This feeling I have is testimony to the writing skill of the author Nathan Lowell and his truly superb narration. His triumph is in creating a leading character that is fallable and this makes him so endearing. I have also appreciated the descriptive power of Nathan's writing that has enabled me to create a vision of every location and setting as though I was there. I guess you all know what is next....a third listen...but perhaps after a Stanyear or so.....

Saddest day ....

I cannot shorten my comments anymore than this. These past few weeks listening to these stories has kept me alive. I found out I have 3 autoimmune diseases and possibly breast cancer. I am an artist, and I wanted to chuck it all. Mr. Lowell may never read this review but, this series has impacted me. I'm not a kook... I'm a woman who has 16 businesses with my husband of 32 yrs. I'm well educated. I track with his storylines and his delivery of reading so engrossingly that I have put him out on all my social media. God Bless. Now to listen to ALL the rest of his work.
