Barry Griffith doesn’t know it yet, but tonight is the night fate has chosen to be the night of his death… his murder.

At a gas station in the middle of nowhere, late at night, his wife Jenny appears… no car… no coat and looking older than when he saw her last. That’s because this is not the woman he received a good-bye kiss from this morning. This woman has been a widow for over four years and has made an impossible journey back in time to try to stop her husband’s murder.

Will they be able to escape the killers or does fate only have one plan… one possible outcome… ONE WAY?

another winner from Jeff Lane he has such a great way of writing and narrating his story's he leaves no space for dull moments to creep in to his twisted tails, thank you so much Jeff for including all of your twisted fans as you spin your craft in to something so wonderful Herman from manchester Tn.

Great thriller with unique ideas

This story had a neat element of time travel presented in a believable way that wasn't too hard to follow. Narration was good and in the style of Stephen King (even similar Maine setting), and jumped between story lines well enough to keep you interested during a few of the slower parts.

Hello Jeff, I just finished listening to your podcast of One way.(4\24\15) I do not normally comment, however I enjoyed this book so much I could not help myself. I loved that returning to the past was accomplished in such a unique way, based on grief and the desire to ...

great listen

an enjoyable thriller. I like it when the authors tell their own stories as they can make the characters seem more real. this is the first Jeff lane book I have heard and loved it! tense and at times funny ! hope there's more! give it a listen

Interesting story, well read

Something a bit different here and it keeps you gripped through to the end. The author does a good job of delivering his work and it is well worth a listen. The only one slight criticism I have is that it gets a bit overly emotional at times and that has me reaching for the fast forward button. Perhaps though with that is because I am a bloke and we don’t like sloppy stuff! :-) Anyway, give it a try and I think you will like it.

I picked this title to decompress from an excellent book of a different genre. I expected fluff. What I got instead was a well read, excellently written story. My only complaint was that not enough time was spent on the time travel devices. It seems to use the same theory as the movie SOMEWHERE IN TIME. That works pretty well but I'd love more details on that

Love Hate

If this had been a physical book I'd have flung it across the room a few times. As it is I just commented, with profanity, on the lack of common sense displayed by the two main characters during the first half of the story. It got better and, in the end, was worth it.

I like the story and the characters a lot. A familiar trope but it works for me. My one small observation is that the language tone is inconsistent. It floats between formal and informal, higher and lower tones. And maybe it's me but the changes catch me off-guard; I don't ...
