Although Edmund O'Brien is my favourite actor in this series, they are all pretty good. I think that the "expense account" element is a good hook for the series. Always good stories. Although the British in the form of the BBC were regarded as having the best production values, I must say that that isn't necessarily the case. The US produced very realistic effects, particularly the likes of "Dragnet", "The Lineup" and ... where the list is endless.
