Reviews
yes, still wonderful after all the years

Really, really funny. I remember the album(s) well. Unfortunately, a smile is accompanied by a lump in the throat. I was in DC when JFK was assinated and viewed the funeral procession
Missing side B?
almost human
I have a vinyl copy of this that I filched from my parents many years ago. It's really funny stuff. Unfortunately, this recording doesn't do it justice. The sound quality is atrocious and it seems only to include side A of the LP.
Still Funny After All These Years

This comedy album which was released in 1962, may have been the very first political satire LP ever done. JFK was played by Vaughn Meader and the president said that Meader sounded more like his brother Ted than like him
A good album

I still have my original "First Family" album and I also have "The First Family" volume II which was Vaughn Meader's second spoof of the Kennedy's that came out shortly before John Kennedy was killed. Both are classic works of commedy.
