I enjoyed listening to these Episodes, reminds of when I was little and my Mom had the radio on during the day. While she was working around the house she'd listen to Stella Dallas, Young Widder Brown, Helen Trent, Ma Perkins,Pepper Young's Family, and the rest. Good hearing these Episodes as they were really "clean" and good quality. No, the "Soaps" didn't always have a lot of action in those days...that was reserved for the Afternoons & Evenings. That's when Gang Busters, The Shadow, Nick Carter, Captain Midnight, Tom Mix, Jack Armstrong,Inner Sanctum,Suspense, and the rest brought out the "Action Brigade" ! The "Soaps" mirrored that time-period of the 30's & 40's when Housewives stayed home, worked around the house, and needed a gentle, or at least mild-mannered group of companions to keep them company. AND, though they didn't have a lot of heart-pounding, in-your-face action, they always had some day-to-day problems, conflicts, family tragedies, love-life heartbreaks, and built-in "hooks" to bring you back the next day.
Talky, static sleuthing

Most of each twelve-minute episode is spent in dialogue hashing everything over. It's as if more action would have strained the budget. And the few action moments there are are fairly unexciting. Still, I would note two attractive ingredients: 1) the tough babe of a lead character and 2) the one of the two Arab Muslim men who is a good guy. These are only the first two episodes--this is an incomplete set.
