(update) Justaskmike, apparently you haven't looked very closely at this list as it does have a number of Philco Radio Time and Chesterfield shows. I just downloaded a bunch of stuff the other day including what appears to be the 1947 Philco show you mentioned. Granted, it's not the best organized page in the world, but there are a few gems here for sure. Also look under "T" for "The Bing Crosby Christmas shows" and you'll find a jackpot. That includes the 1950 Chesterfield show in which he incorporates his real life family, apparently for the first time. I agree, I would like to see someone post the Christmas Sing With Bing specials from the late 1950s and early '60s. (original message) I've been listening to the Christmas-season shows on this page, and am surprised "White Christmas" wasn't always a staple at least from 1942 on. In fact he opens every Christmas show with "Adeste Fidelus" in Latin, then everyone in the studio--even the announcer!--sings in English. It's a rather touching tradition you would never hear now. Evidently he would sing "White Christmas" as early as November, in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Bing is absolutely amazing, a real natural on radio. And what he did behind the scenes--taping his show in advance beginning in 1946--did nothing short of revolutionize *all* of broadcasting. I highly recommend Bing.
Bing's Christmas shows

In looking over your collection of Bing Crosby's radio shows, I notice that you don't have any of the Philco Radio Time programs of 1946-49, or his Chesterfield shows. This was when he was at his top in popularity. I have one Philco show from either 1946 or 1947. I had recorded it on a cassette from another cassette or CD and when the audience joins in to sing "Adeste Fideles," you can sense the emotion and strength of their voices. I think it was right after the war, and the people were showing their feelings through the song. I would like to find a few more of Bing's Christmas programs, especially the Christmas Sing with Bing which he did from 1954 to 1952. It was his radio programs that brought the Christmas spirit into American homes for many years.
