#31 and #32 are actually the same episode. The latter is recorded faster and is a little clearer.

Interesting in small doses

These episodes are for those people who enjoy harking back to a much more nostalgic time. However, since I was a child, I squirmed whenever I saw orphan Annie or living witth father cartoons in the newspaper. I just could not bear to see those boiled oyster like eyes without any eyeballs. Definitely horrible. And that is why when I listened to just one episode of orphan Annie today, I just wished that someone with some sense would have used some other photograph to advertise this radio program without oyster like eyes, and a terrible simper, so favored by the artist. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Child labor violations?

Orphan Annie must have been one of the hardest-working marketers of the era! The way the promotional giveaways and trinket-sales are woven into the storylines gets pretty intense. Thanks to whoever uploaded these. I wish there were more! I noticed when listening through the episodes for stories where Annie met journalist characters -- who are my particular old time radio fetish. The "story arc" I found also coincides with Annie's birthday -- and your big chance to get a birthstone ring just like the one Daddy Warbucks sent Annie... :-) http://jheroes.com/2014/01/14/little-orphan-annie-in-the-newsroom/

I bet you all miss those days. I would too if I were older.
