Frontier Town 47 Eps
Various
(47 Episodes) "Frontier Town" was a 1949, 30-minute weekly western-serial-drama, which was broadcast on WFOW radio every Tuesday evening at 8:30 pm; C.J. Starr Agency was their sponsor. Chad Remington, a small-town rancher's son, travels to the city to attain his Law Degree, with the intention of becoming a big city lawyer. However, life happens and hearing his father has been murdered, he heads back to the old homestead to solve his father's killing, eventually building a law career in his old home-town. Even though there were already an abundance of western programs being broadcast during & prior to 1949, the Broadcasters Program Syndicate promoted "Frontier Town" as being radio's FIRST, 1st-class, 30-minute, western-drama-serial. Ace-writer Paul Franklin was hired to keep storylines unique & moving, and talented actors were hired to keep them exciting & believable. OTR * def gp ddh
