. . . that the radio version of Father Knows Best expired in 1953 while the television version was produced from 1954 through 1963. Research and accuracy are our friends. That said, there's something to be said for the radio show being much more of a genuine comedy than the television show, which was probably slightly more a light drama than a full comedy. And it's a kick hearing a slightly different Jim Anderson than would become familiar on television---on radio, he was a little addlepated and a little bit more of a dunderhead. Not to mention hearing the future Wilma Flintsone (Jean Vander Pyl) as the second Margaret Anderson on radio.
