Superb!

This is the best radio drama adaptation of Stevenson's famous novel I've listened to, although it took some liberties from his book (like Jekyll being in his 20s rather than 40s). I didn't expect it to be interesting at first, but after listening to to the first few episodes I couldn't take off the earphones till episode 52. The high mp3 encoding bitrate (64kbps mono) means good sound quality (for a 1932 radio program). The voice acting is splendid, the story captivating, suspenseful at times, horrifying at times while painting the mind of Jekyll/Hyde. There are also scenes of dangerous adventure (eg. Jekyll/Hyde getting stranded with a young woman on a snow-covered mountain). Each 15-minute episode has opening and closing music that fits this radio program. For better or worse, there are no radio commercials. This radio serial is a must-listen to!
Amazing!! Heartfelt and Real.
Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde
Hello Everyone, I have stumbled across this radio archive a few years back. I became immersed deeper and deeper with every episode. George Edwards (Harold Parkes) is genius! I am living a century away from him and still feel like he is here now. The rest of the cast is perfect. I have listened to the entire broadcast 3 times (going on my 4th) and it has changed me and opened up my imagination. I never knew or thought that an Old time radio program could uplift me as much as it has. Thank you for preserving and archiving such a treasure. I am in debt to you fine people. Cheers to you!!

Can be found at this location https://oldtimeradio.tv/OTR/Dr.%20Jekyll%20&%20Mr.%20Hyde%20(1932)/ I have only listened to the first 15 episodes, but it is a dramatization of the book by Robert Louis Stevenson. I read the book when I was a teenager, but that was so long ago I have forgotten all of it. So far I am enjoying this serial, episodes are less than 15 minutes each. 52 episodes total. For a series that was done in 1932, the sound quality is pretty good.
It was wonderful having all of the different voices performed. A

Awesome hearing the different characters performed so vividly. I will seek out more of the radio broadcast editions in the future. I was very disappointed however that the book cut out 90% through and I couldn't get the ending. That just sucks. Maybe it will be worked out by the time someone else is reading this. Otherwise, lots of fun to listen to.
This is incomplete...

This serial is in fifty-two parts. i think you can find a complete version somewhere on the archive. Also, it is from Australia. George Edwards did a number of classics in this format and often did all the voice acting, including the women's voices. i don't know if that's true for this serial.
amazing
love the voice acting
Nice long story and good voice acting
